#Cut4Bieber

*For those of you who don't know self harm, like cutting, is when people deliberately hurt themselves without necessarily wanting to commit suicide.

Synopsis:

'Cutting for Bieber' is a new trend forming because of Justin Bieber ALLEGEDLY smoking weed. It implies that JB fans cut themselves until Bieber will stop ‘using’ weed. It has been rumoured that internet trolls started convincing Bieber fans to harm themselves in Justin Bieber’s name. Fans took it seriously when JB started smoking, posting messages such as "when you stop using drugs and we'll stop cutting" Along with pictures of them self-harming. We don't quite know yet which are real or fake. Lesser fans or those who think that it’s funny, post pictures of themselves cutting food, or having pizza sauce on their arms, with the same messages, along with pictures of bleeding arms. There is even one with a man holding a pair of scissors to his left testicle. These fans are supposedly trying to help Bieber with his drug addiction, by cutting themselves. There are even two unconfirmed deaths of girls bleeding to death, whether they’re true or not has yet to be seen.

Analysis:

Let's start out by saying I'm not a Justin Bieber fan, nor am I a so-called 'hater'. 

Oh my God. What am I supposed to say? Should I say they should die if they’re that daft, or maybe I should feel pity for them, for feeling like their life is over because they’re idol wants to get high?

First off: You’re not a druggie if you smoke pot once. Why do you think it's legal in so many states?? It's an herb!!!

 Secondly, you don't 'use' marijuana, you can smoke it, bake it, technically eat it (although that won't get you high), but you cannot shoot it, or cut it and snort it. The only reason you get high off of pot is because of the THC, not the herb.

Third, if you hit you ulnar artery, there is a good chance of you dying. Located in the forearm, which most of these pictures are, it is the main artery in your forearm. Veins bring blood to your heart; arteries bring it to you extremities; meaning that you will see blood gushing out of you with each heartbeat. Also, there cutting is erratic, which means it could easily nick it, going vertical is a lot of dangerous than sideways. These girls/guys are extremely idiotic. 

 And fourthly, oh they’re gonna look silly when they're trying to get a job,

Interviewer-"Oh what’s that on your arm?"

Person-"Oh I precipitated in hashtagcutfourbeiber when I was younger."

Interviewer -“Get the hell out of my office!!”

Well someone’s screwed XD

On a more personal note, I'm offended by this. I, dealing with self-harm for years, know that it a serous and addicting problem. I was forced into a metal faculty at the age of 13 for an eating disorder. But because of my self-harm issues I was on every restriction they had; meaning no scissors, pens, pencils, strings, rubber-bands, etc. You get the jest. Fighting two hard things at once was close to impossible, which make this make my blood boil.
